Membership in this Booster Club is open to anyone wishing to join in support of the JBHS Class of 2009.  All parents of the students of the Class of 2009 are strongly encouraged to join the Booster Club. 

Membership is required in order for your graduating Senior to attend the 2009 Project Graduation Celebration in June.

I will attend the Graduation Celebration.  This is a Drug / Alcohol-free lock-in.  All attendees MUST ride buses to and from event (if applicable).  I agree to abide by all rules and policies set forth by MYEC and BC2009 and hereby waive and release them from any liability for injury.  I give BC2009permission to act for me according to their best judgment in any emergency. Classes of 2009 – In order to have a successful Graduation Celebration for our children, please give serious consideration to the following:

 

_______     I am able to volunteer time for fundraising activities. (The more members we have the less fundraising we have to do!!  So, spread the word.)

 

_______     I am able to donate items (i.e. drinks, paper goods, gift cards, movie passes, calculators, cameras, DVD players, Clock Radios … this list is unlimited. ) for fundraising activities and/or Project Graduation.

 

_______     I am able to volunteer time to assist and/or chaperone students at Project Graduation.

The Committee and a few parents met on Feb. 13, 2008.  We currently have approximately $14,000 with a goal of $30,000 to fund Project Graduation.  We are hoping to work on a set meeting schedule, but knowing that we all lead busy lives; if we can at least start communicating on line we can and will make a difference.
